Mitigation Survey

May 14, 2025

“Searcy County in partnership with the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District is developing a hazard mitigation plan for the county. This plan will help the cities and county to develop projects to mitigate against the severe damages from natural disasters that may happen in Searcy County. Some examples are community safe rooms, improve drainage problems, replace/repair low water crossings, projects that will reduce or eliminate the risk of loss to life and property. We need input from the community to improve the quality of the plan and see where the needs are in the county for these types of projects so that they can be included in developing the plan.” “Here is the link to an online survey for the community to participate in the plan development.
